CIMA SOLDA 3376 m

easy glacier trekking tour for beginners

Our trekking tour across the Suldenferner glacier starts at the uphill station of the Sulden cable-car. Perfectly protected by the ropes of your experienced guide you can risk many a glance into the blue shimmering crevasses of this impressing glacier. On the way back you can enjoy fantastic views over the Ortler mountain range, ideal for taking the most intriguing pictures.

 

 

MARMOLADA 3343 m

In a full day excursion to the highest summit of the Dolomites - Marmolada 'the Queen of the Dolomites'. Ascent from the Fedaia Pass to Pian dei Fiacconi (2700 meters). Here we start our tour first to the Marmolada glacier than on a roc crest with easy climbing to the Punta Penia summit. Return on the same way.

 

 

ORTLES 3902 m - glacier tour for advanced

Ascent the day before to the Payer Hut /aprox. 3 hours from the Langenstein chair lift. After an easy climb (II-III°) we reach the Tschirfeck. We pass the bear hole and the Lombardi Bivack and reach then, after crossing the large Ortler-Plateau, the summit.

 

 

PALLA BIANCA 3739 m

Ascent  the day before  to the Schöne Aussicht hut in the Schnalstal valley (approx. 2 hours). Early in the morning hike to the Teufelsegg and further to the Steinschlagjoch. From here we proceed by the rope of the mountain guide to the Hintereisjoch and across a steep snow flank up to the summit. Before reaching the top, there is easy climbing over the ridge for aprox. 20 minutes. The descent goes over the Steinschlagjoch and straight down to Kurzras.

 

 

SIMILAUN 3516 m

From the Lago di Vernago in the Schnalstal Vally you reach on a trekking path the Similaun Hut. In the early morning your guide will pick you up to climb the summit. Descent to the Similaun hut and trough the Tisen valley you return to the Vernagt Lake.

 

 

LAGHI DI SOPRANES

from Val Passiria to Dorf Tirol

We arrive Pfelders by bus from Merano in the early morning. Here we walk across the Faltschnal and the Spronser yoke to the famous Sopranes Lakes in the middle of an high alpine landscape. We walk along the beautiful Lakes with a spectacular overview before we descent to the Oberkaserhut for a break. After we continue to walk across the exposed Jägersteig to the Mutkopf an the Hochmut cable-car, which bring us down to Dorf Tirol.

 

 

VIA FERRATA HEINI HOLZER - Monte Ivigna 2581 m

The new via ferrata over Merano is rated at medium difficulty (B/C) and is suitable for the less strong Alpinists. Never less, the last part of the via ferrata, the so-called Angel's Edge, presents a very impressive rock passage.

 

 

VIA FERRATA HOACHWOOL

With its contrasting topological features, zigzags, various walls and views of the old “Kandln”, an irrigation channel dating back to 1833 which still carries water to the Naturno meadows and orchards, this particular wall is both highly exacting and thrillingly exciting. With a fantastic metal suspension bridge!

 

 

VIA FERRATA STULLER WATERFALL - Passiria valley

The 2019 newly opened medium difficult via ferrata runs in breathtaking surroundings in the immediate vicinity of the roaring Stuller waterfall, the third highest in Europe. Here is also a heavy variant possible, in D and E. The return can also be done by bus.

 

 

VIA FERRATA in the DOLOMITES OR VAL D'ADIGE

A via ferrata is a perfect alternative for people who want more than just walking uphill but who don’t fancy the thrill of rock climbing. These iron ladder path allow mountain walkers to follow spectacular routes that would normally have needed considerable climbing skills. An experienced Alpine Guide will go together with you and teach you the basic techniques. This will help you to become skilful in order to enjoy these open walking and scrambling routes in safety.

VIA FERRATA ZIEL - Zieltal

From the Texel cable car you can walk to the entrance of the via ferrata, which will be newly opened in 2020, in just over an hour. It leads with rope bridges and flying fox over the Ziel river to the actual entry point of the via ferrata.
